What's the Deal with Heels?

This is going to be my last blog entry and I believe the next blog entry will be for my graduation. Excited! But right now I should focus in getting the highest grade I can potentially reach. A few days ago I went out to a nearby park for a photography day, last time I will be able to breathe that fresh air with a peaceful mind. Anyway, here’s the look of that day. I really don’t have time to dress up these days so I went for something casual and simple but you can never go wrong with a pair of heels (the ones I talked about on my first blog entry). Also I found out how to make my photos better quality, the size that I upload the photos don't even matter, you just need photobucket, have a html and wala! So much better quality than the previous ones I have uploaded!

They can surely do wonders. Heels, though painful at times, can really elongate your legs and hence also making you appear slimmer. Not only that, they give this awesome edge that brings this simple and casual outfit to a whole new level, unlike if I were to simply wear some sneakers. It’s a new transformation step in my life, I am starting to wear heels more often but I still remain in sneakers around my friends since they are not the type to go to such an edgy extent… just a matter of age, we’re all still young. I just really need to practice and wear heels more often because I still struggle to wear them for long periods of time. There are females who think whoever helped create heels should have just killed themselves instead of tormenting all of us, but then there are those who express extreme gratitude to such a creation. My view, yes they are painful but girls go to all extents just to look and feel good. Wear heels with a sense of balance (no pun intended) such that you don’t wear them all the time, feet and leg muscles need rest and the bones will change shape if worn too regularly.  Well here’s a photo I took at the park. Enjoy!

C.N Blue

I've haven't been into Korean music or dramas until this year and it's quite interesting since many Asians are and there sure is a reason why. They are actually really good. I use to think the language Korean sounded really weird and that all the Korean guys' voices are REALLY deep but they can sound so dreamy~~
I've watched Full House when I was young and that was good but I never got captivated. Many people liked Flowers Before Boys and I have it on DVD but in Mandarin which I don't fully understand so maybe that's why I don't really like that drama. I didn't think they were that good-looking either and I still don't.

I got introduced into watching "Heartstrings" by my long time friend and now I'm hooked... not good.

Synopsis:Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band “The Stupid.” Shin is known for his good looks and strong passion for music, but is cold. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Kyu Won.
Lee Kyu Won is  born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments. Kyu Won’s grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy. Her friends are fans of “The Stupid” and so she was forced to go to the band’s concert with them. There she sees Lee Shin performing live.

Need to stop when school starts and after I can have a Korean dramas marathon ^_^ YAY! I really can't wait for year 12 to finish and I can do what ever I LIKE.
Anyway, I remember when I first started listening to Hong Kong Music... and then Taiwanese Music.... and now Korean Music. I would guess Japanese Music will be next but I don't really like the Japanese language either... hmm, that was how I felt towards Korean. Maybe it will change, maybe not.
I've listened to other boy bands too like BIG BANG, BEAST and F.T Island and they're good too but I seem to like C.N Blue more. Maybe because of the drama I have fallen for them. That's what happens, dramas tend to make normal guys seem hot. I might not think C.N Blue is so good if not because of the drama. But I have to say their English sounds really precise in their songs like LOVE Girl unlike F.T Island's Sunshine Girl.

Time for something beauty related. Recently I ran out of lip balm and so I went down to the local supermarket to buy a new one. Originally I was using Nivea Fruity Shine: Strawberry Flavour but for some unusual reason there was no Nivea brand lip balm, seeing this cute lip balm by Maybelline called Baby Lips I decided to try a different brand. I got the menthol one as I wanted a cool feeling on my lips.

They're both as shiny but I have to say I'm more of a Nivea fan. Nivea gives a really smooth and soft feeling with two swipes whilst the Maybelline requires four or five times to give the same result. On the downside Nivea is too pigmented which I didn't like after a while because it's makes my lips naturally red and hard to apply other colours, however some might like this and therefore it is a positive.

There are many other Nivea lip balms which are not as pigmented so I will give them a try after I have finished with this Maybelline one. The Nivea one is more expensive but it's worth every penny, if only there is a Nivea one which gives me that cool menthol feeling.

First Post: Something Special

Charity Dress Day at school, I look like I am 5 >_<

Hi and welcome to my blog. The first post is always something special so I would like to make this as special as possible. Firstly I am currently in my mid year break, when I return to school it will be the last few metres of the race where I will do my end of year exams and graduate so it's a very special time for me.

I have just watched The Time Traveler's Wife and it brought me to tears and now I am in a sad mood but it is such a beautiful movie, I highly recommend it to those who haven't watched it and for those who have, what did you think about it? I think it's a great topic for my first post as it talks about life and time. Here i am trying to find out what I will become in the future, recording down things so I may look back on it and smile. The Time Traveler's Wife is about love and how much people should cherish it, be it family or others. Stop thinking about the future and try and enjoy the present...
And I am :). Harry Potter, the last movie EVER has come out and I was going to see it last night but ended up not being able to go. I also had some other plans with some other friends for today but everything just seemed to fall out of place... buuut you can always rely on Mum to make things better. Went shopping with my mum today and bought a pair of Tony Bianco boots at Myer valued at $200 for only $24.50!!! No lie. They were reduced in price and then reduced again and my mum had a voucher valued at $40 so it was only $24.50. Love a bargain!
